# The tipster leaderboard

> How the leaderboard is computed, the 10-bet rule, the filters, and how to use it to pick a tipster.

The [leaderboard](https://tipster4you.com/en/leaderboard) compares every tipster on
numbers computed by the platform from actual results. Nobody can enter their own
statistics.

## The 10-bet rule

A tipster's statistics are only shown from **10 settled predictions**. Below that,
their row shows "x/10 bets before validation" with a progress bar, and their profile
carries the "Insufficient sample" label. It is a safeguard: a ROI computed on three
bets means nothing.

## What each row shows

The rank, the avatar, the name (with the "Verified" icon where applicable), the main
sale mode and the number of bets. Then, for a validated tipster:

| Column   | Meaning                                            |
| -------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| Win rate | Share of predictions won, a half-won counting 0.5  |
| ROI      | Profit divided by total staked, as a percentage    |
| Profit   | Net gain in units                                  |
| Rating   | Average of the reviews left by buyers, from 1 to 5 |

"View" opens the tipster's profile.

## Sorting

The menu at the top right picks the sort criterion (ROI, win rate, profit, number of
bets, rating) and the button next to it reverses the order. The **All** / **Free** tabs
let you keep only tipsters who publish free predictions.

## Filters

* **Search** by name.
* **Sport**: keeps only tipsters specialised in one sport.
* Sale **type**: subscription, single purchase, pay-per-win, free.
* **Minimum number of bets**.
* **Minimum ROI** and **minimum win rate**, with sliders.
* **Maximum subscription price**, in euros per month.
* **Verified only**.

## Reading the leaderboard well

* A high ROI over 12 predictions says less than an average ROI over 300. Raise the
  "minimum number of bets".
* Look at the rating too: it reflects buyers' experience, not only the numbers.
* Open the profile: it details results by period and by sport, and the full prediction
