# Pay-per-win

> Paid only if the bet wins: how the automatic refund works.

With pay-per-win, you pay for the prediction when you buy it. If the bet is declared
lost, Tipster4You refunds you automatically, with no action on your side.

## What triggers the refund

The match result is checked after the final whistle and the prediction gets a status.
Only the **lost** status triggers the pay-per-win refund. The refund is sent to Stripe,
which credits the payment method you used.

## The other statuses

* **Won**: the prediction is paid to the tipster, nothing changes for you.
* **Half-won / half-lost**: these statuses apply to Asian handicap or split-stake bets.
  They do not trigger an automatic refund. If you believe a refund is due, email support
  with the link to the prediction.
* **Refunded**: the refund has been issued.

## Timing

The refund is issued as soon as the "lost" status is recorded. How long it takes to show
up on your bank account then depends on your bank.

## Where to see it

In your [dashboard](https://tipster4you.com/en/dashboard), the prediction switches to
the "refunded" status and the amount appears in your history.
