A tipster's page

A tipster profile: banner, tabs, quick summary and rating.

The page

  • The banner: name, plan (Pro, Pro+), “Verified” badge, specialties, number of subscribers, Follow button.
  • Predictions: active (upcoming) predictions and the history of settled ones.
  • Subscriptions: the plans the tipster offers.
  • Statistics: the detail by period and by sport.
  • About: the bio, the country, the social links.
  • Quick summary, on the right: overall ROI, win rate, profit, average CLV, average odds, total bets, current streak.
  • The rating: average of the 1-to-5 reviews and number of reviews.

Insufficient sample

Until the tipster has 10 settled predictions, the summary carries the “Insufficient sample · x/10 settled bets” label and the leaderboard does not show their statistics. The numbers are there, but not yet meaningful.

Timestamped, locked predictions

Every prediction gets the exact time of its publication and can no longer be edited once the match has started.

Win rate

Share of predictions won out of all settled predictions. A half-won counts as half a win.

Profit in units

A unit is the reference stake. A bet won at odds of 1.90 with a one-unit stake returns +0.90 units; a lost bet is worth −1 unit. Profit is the sum of these results. It lets you compare tipsters who stake different amounts.

ROI

Profit divided by the total staked, as a percentage. A ROI of +5% means that for every 100 units staked, the tipster made 5 more.

CLV

CLV (closing line value) compares the odds the tipster took with the market’s closing odds. A positive CLV means the tipster regularly gets better odds than the final market: a sign of skill independent of short-term luck. It is only computed when the closing odds are known.

Current streak

“W3” means three predictions won in a row, “L2” two lost in a row.

Half-won, half-lost

On some bets (Asian handicap, split stake), half of the stake is won or lost. These results count as 0.5 in the win rate and at their actual value in the profit.

Grades

The grade (Rookie, Expert, Legend) depends on the number of predictions the tipster has published, not on their results. It reflects experience on the platform. The thresholds are described in Grades and commissions.
